10 credit hours must be in clinical MFT workshops; and 3 in professional ethics.
It’s possible that 27 credit hours may be earned from distant learning (online/homestudy) continuing education course. It depends on how your board defines Independent Study. Their use of the term is not the same as a formal developed home study course consiting of objectives and exam questions.
