Social Work Today CE’s distant learning courses are available for continuing education credit for social workers as required by the D.C. Board of Social Worker.
The Board requires 40 hours of continuing education courses for license renewal every two years. The Board has approved 6 credit hours of multimedia educational programs per year (i.e. on-line classes, home study, & audio programs) per two-year renewal cycle.
A minimum of six (6) hours of the total continuing education credits shall have been in ethics.
Social Work Today CE, a service of CE Learning Systems, is approved to offer continuing education courses by the Association of State Social Work Boards (ASWB #1020). CE Learning Systems maintains responsibility for the courses.
