Our distant learning courses are available for continuing education credit for addiction counselors, as set forth by the BEADGC.

Initial Certification
For initial certification, BEADGC requires academic degrees rather than educational hours. Thus no courses from this site can be used to fulfill the initial certification requirement.

Certification Renewal
Three hours of ethics and three hours of confidentiality required for renewal.

Social Work Today CE is a service of CE Learning Systems LLC. CE Learning Systems is approved to offer continuing educations courses by NAADAC (#410), and many ICRC certification boards. CE Learning Systems LLC maintains responsibility for the courses.

Cycle: Renewal every 2 years
Total Credit Requirement: 40 credits required; All 40 may be earned with Social Work Today CE.
